I had a RedSea that sprung the infamous leak, causing a complete loss of a 5 year old system I had built. I could get no communication from that company. So I looked at a half dozen different brands looking for a replacement. My local shop had a Mariner 100 new in box that he showed me. I was amazed by the bracing, the glass thickenss, and the overall robust nature of the tank and stand. Other brands I looked at like waterbox and IM both were known to have wobbly and less rigid stands. I wanted to have the right setup from the beginning.
The folks at eshopps have been FAST to reply to me both in emails and on social media and have helped me every step of the way. Our new Mariner 100 is up and running and absolutely beautiful. 10/10 would definitely recommend this tank. The inner corner guards and bottom bracing is phenomenal!
I have been able to adapt my old lights, pumps, skimmer, and reactor to this sump and so far it’s almost like a direct replacement but far better built!
